Well that was interesting! I asked some friends of mine to pick a skeleton from my series for me to make a 3-d model of, and this one seemed to be popular. A lot of strange tricky shapes involved, but I like it!

Another 3-d Creature from Saigo (Bogdan Gontar) over at Polycount. What was originally a woolly ice-age creature, Bogdan has turned into a sleek, almost aquatic killer. With a goofy smile. Thanks Bogdan!
Another 3-d creature this time(one of my favorites!) from Mr.Barker over at Polycount. I asked him if that was the mouth at the bottom there, and what those things were on the side of the head, and he said that…
Yeah that’s his mouth. The things on the side of his head are little gill like structures for taking in air since I imagined his mouth would be suctioned to the ground a lot of the time.
Interesting! Thanks again!
Another 3-d critter from the talented Patrick Boisvert at Polycount! This time we have one of the cool desert creatures from my earliest test group of fellow classmates. Thanks Patrick!
After I got my new crop of creatures, I decided to try my hand at a high-poly model of one them. Here’s what I’ve ended up with so far! This creature started out as a deep-sea snail like creature, and a couple generations in this particular species was looking pretty formidable!
